形态描述
上唇边缘有1—3行乳突，下唇亦具乳突。下颌匙状，露出。尾柄起点处的宽等于尾柄高。腹鳍基部起点与背鳍第1或第2分枝鳍条之基部相对。体无鳞。雄性个体体表具明显颗粒状突起。侧线不完全。鳔前室膨大。肠管绕折成螺纹状。
生物学
This small loach lives in the shallow water and the slow current of the Qinghaihu Lake. It is an ornamental loach, the maximum total length is about 90 mm.
